The DEFY Extreme Carl Cox is the limited edition Zenith made with the DJ, with a two-tone case: microblasted steel with yellow gold on the bezel ring and accents. The openworked tinted sapphire dial carries counters styled as vinyl records and a stroboscopic minute track taken from a turntable platter.
The movement is the El Primero 9004 with its two escapements, 5 Hz for the time and 50 Hz for the chronograph, timing to 1/100th of a second with a 50-hour power reserve. Water resistance is 200 metres. The watch comes on the microblasted steel bracelet with a black rubber strap and a black Velcro strap on the quick strap-change system.
