Bell&Ross

Bell & Ross at Little Europe

Founded in 1994 by designer Bruno Belamich and businessman Carlos Rosillo, Bell & Ross builds watches to a single, uncompromising brief: legibility, reliability, and function under pressure. The brand’s language is drawn straight from the cockpit — aircraft instrument dials, military chronographs, and diving gauges — and its most famous idea, the circle within a square, takes the round face of an aviation instrument and frames it in a purposeful case. What began as tool watches for pilots, astronauts, bomb-disposal units and special forces has become one of the most recognisable design signatures in modern watchmaking.

At Little Europe Jewellers — an authorized Bell & Ross dealer on Front Street in Philipsburg since 1976 — every reference is sold completely duty-free and tax-free, with the full international warranty and free worldwide shipping. This is the collection to explore whether you are buying your first serious Swiss watch or adding an instrument piece to a mature one.

Why Bell & Ross is different

Most luxury watches are designed to be admired. Bell & Ross is designed to be read — at a glance, in the dark, at altitude, underwater. That functional discipline is what sets the brand apart:

  • Instrument-panel legibility. High-contrast dials, oversized numerals and generous Super-LumiNova are engineered for instant readability, not decoration.
  • A design you recognise across a room. The square-cased BR 03 and the integrated-bracelet BR 05 are among the few modern silhouettes identifiable without a logo.
  • Real Swiss watchmaking. Swiss-made automatic and manufacture movements, sapphire crystals, and cases in steel, microblasted ceramic, titanium and bronze.
  • Purpose-built, not fashion-built. Genuine aviation, military and diving heritage — tool watches that grew up, rather than dress watches wearing a costume.
  • Accessible entry into serious horology. A haute-horlogerie sensibility at a price point that welcomes a first collector.

What “duty-free” means for your Bell & Ross

Sint Maarten is a duty-free island: there is no import duty or sales tax added to luxury watches. Because Little Europe is an authorized Bell & Ross dealer, you buy the identical watch, with the identical international warranty, that you would from any authorized dealer worldwide — but without the tax layer that inflates the price elsewhere. Depending on where you would otherwise buy, that can mean a meaningful saving on the same reference, with none of the grey-market compromises.

Every piece is 100% authentic, supplied new and sealed, and its warranty is activated by Little Europe at the point of sale. Free worldwide shipping is included, and our team can advise on how the purchase relates to your own country’s personal duty allowance.

Bell & Ross — Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is Little Europe an authorized Bell & Ross dealer?

Yes. Little Europe Jewellers is an authorized Bell & Ross dealer in Sint Maarten. Every watch is genuine, supplied new and sealed, and carries the full Bell & Ross international warranty activated at point of sale.

2. How much can I save buying Bell & Ross duty-free?

Sint Maarten adds no import duty or sales tax to luxury watches, so you pay for the watch without the tax layer applied in most countries. The saving versus a taxed dealer depends on your local tax rate, but on the same reference it is typically significant — with an identical, warranty-backed watch.

3. Which Bell & Ross collections do you carry?

We currently stock five families: the BR 03 (Instrument Square), the BR 05 (Sport / Integrated bracelet), the BR-X (Complications), the BR V (Vintage Round) and the BR S (Small / Ladies). Availability rotates, so contact us for the exact references in stock.

4. What is the difference between the BR 03 and the BR 05?

The BR 03 is the brand’s icon — a round aviation dial in a square case, worn on a strap, the purest expression of the “circle in a square.” The BR 05 is a softer, rounded-square case with an integrated metal bracelet, designed as an everyday luxury sports watch. Choose the BR 03 for the signature tool-watch look, the BR 05 for versatile day-to-night wear.

5. Does the warranty apply internationally?

Yes. Bell & Ross watches carry an international warranty against manufacturing defects — two years for standard automatic and quartz movements, and up to five years on certain manufacture calibres. We activate your warranty at purchase; keep the dealer-stamped card for any future service anywhere Bell & Ross is serviced.

6. Do you ship Bell & Ross worldwide?

We do — fully insured, with free worldwide shipping, at the same duty-free price. Our team can also advise on your home country’s personal import allowance so there are no surprises on arrival.

7. Are Bell & Ross watches suitable for pilots, diving and everyday wear?

That is exactly what they are built for. The dials are engineered for instant legibility, and most models offer 100 metres of water resistance — robust enough for daily life and travel. Dedicated diving references (the BR 03 Diver line) offer higher water resistance; ask us for the rating of any specific piece.

8. Where are your boutiques in St. Maarten?

Both are on Front Street in Philipsburg: our flagship at 80 Front Street (established 1976) and our second boutique at 2 Front Street. Both are a short walk from the cruise pier and both carry Bell & Ross.
