The DEFY El Primero 21 was the first Zenith to time to 1/100th of a second, and this is the titanium version with the openworked dial and the matching titanium bracelet. The 44 mm case shows the blue El Primero 9004 through the dial: two escapements, one at 5 Hz for the time and one at 50 Hz for the chronograph.
Start the chronograph and the central hand completes a full turn every second, read against the 100-graduation scale. The reserve is 50 hours, with a separate chronograph reserve indicator at 12 o'clock, and the case is rated to 100 metres.
